From dressing up in the crew’s international wear to creating their own “Wacky Hat” out of Wendy’s paper products, the week long celebration started with encouraging notes and ended with lots of smiles!
Each day the teams throughout the country had a theme and contest to participate in which helped show company morale and appreciation to the hardworking crew.
On Monday, May 16th, the team kicked off Restaurant Appreciation Week by celebrating team work and wearing their favorite Sports Team’s Jersey!
Tuesday, the teams celebrated their roots and dressed up in their native attire! Celia Camacho, Market Manager of Houston, said her team loves to be able to express where they are from and love celebrating their culture.
Wednesday’s theme was Wacky Hat Day! The teams had a great time putting their creative brains together and making a crazy hat out of Wendy’s paper products and more!!!
The team celebrated Throwback Thursday with tye-dye outfits and other vintage garments.
“We always love a great theme, especially when it comes to decades!” Said Camacho.
Friday, May 20th, the theme was Fast and Furious Friday! Stores competed by having the FASTEST Speed of Service in the Drive-thru. They also got to wear their favorite Nascar or racing shirts!
