HAZA Group proudly executed the grand opening of its second Global Next Gen Restaurant in the vibrant city of Lockhart, Texas, marking a significant stride in providing an enhanced experience for customers, crew members, and digital enthusiasts. The event, which took place on January 12, 2024, was met with excitement and enthusiasm from the local community.

In a strategic move to elevate the dining experience, HAZA Group embraced The Wendy’s Company’s revolutionary Global Next Gen restaurant design standard. Unveiled by The Wendy’s Company in August, this innovative design focuses on optimizing layout and incorporating cutting-edge technology to deliver an unparalleled level of convenience, speed, and accuracy.

At the forefront of this remarkable project was Samuel Neal, the dedicated Project Manager whose hard work and tireless efforts brought the vision to life. A sincere expression of gratitude is extended to our exceptional Project Manager, for his unwavering dedication and tireless efforts in bringing the vision of HAZA Group’s second Global Next Gen Restaurant in Lockhart, TX, to fruition. Samuel’s leadership and hard work have been instrumental in ensuring the success of this innovative project. We also extend heartfelt thanks to Superintendent Coy Lewis for his meticulous oversight and commitment to excellence throughout the entire process. Dedicated Mobile Order Pickup: The restaurant features mobile order parking and pick-up shelving, providing customers with a seamless experience. With the option to select a pick-up time when placing their mobile order, patrons can park in a dedicated spot, retrieve their meals from the pick-up shelving, and savor their Wendy’s favorites at their convenience.

Reimagined Kitchen: The new galley-style kitchen design spans from the front to the back of the restaurant, enhancing efficiency and oversight for the crew across all sales channels. This design facilitates smoother transitions between positions throughout the day, resulting in faster order fulfillment and fostering culinary innovation.

Next Generation Technology: Global Next Gen incorporates modernized technology that operates behind the scenes, empowering restaurant teams to handle a significantly higher volume of digital business.
