With a brand new Wendy’s located right in the heart of Round Rock, Texas, Fran Pardo and Team Austin decided it was a perfect opportunity to roll up their sleeves and participate in the “Greatest Foodie Event in Texas”.
The Taste of Round Rock, located at Round Rock Sports Center is an annual event showcasing restaurants, caterers, and other food-related businesses by providing samplings of their favorite products to more than 600 guests.
“We not only wanted to spread the word about our wonderful breakfast and have people sample it, but we also made sure the guests were aware of our free croissant promo coming up!” Said Pardo.
Pardo and her team set up their beautifully decorated booth complete with samplings of the multiple breakfast menu items including, Frosty-ccinos, Pineapple Mango Lemonade, Maple Bacon Chicken Croissants, Sausage, Egg & Swiss Croissants, Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits, Seasoned Potatoes and of course, Cookies and Oatmeal Bars.
“There was a line of people waiting to sample and get coupons. It was an amazing sight to see, but with that being said we had the health of our customers and teams in mind,” explained Pardo.
The crew took multiple precautions including setting up hand-sanitizer stations, proper food preparation, distribution and the use of face-masks.
Fran believes the event not only helped bring awareness to our breakfast, but also helped build local connections with the City of Round Rock.
“I am extremely proud of my team and all of their hard work during this two hour event. They truly did go above and beyond in the entire process and we are happy to be a part of the Round Rock community.” Said Pardo.
